Accreditation for journalists
Faster at the fair – closer to the story: with online accreditation, you can acquire accreditation from end of Octoberfor the INTERMOT around the clock until the end of the event.
During the event Koelnmesse will ensure that your request will be processed within 2 hours during regular trade fair opening hours.
The registration must be undertaken personally by each media representative – there is no possibility of accreditation on site!
Your admission ticket and your public transport ticket will be available in your Ticket Wallet in the INTERMOT app 14 days before the event begins at the latest.
Due to the Corona-compliant planning of the fair, Koelnmesse systems also had to be adapted to these new processes. With respect to the accreditation process, this means that every media representative has to register again. Thus, the old login data are no longer valid.

The accreditation of journalists for the purpose of reporting on Koelnmesse GmbH events is governed by Koelnmesse GmbH’s General Accreditation Guidelines for trade fairs in Germany, as described below.
We kindly ask all media representatives to observe these guidelines and seek accreditation in good time prior to the trade fair. An accreditation is granted solely for the purpose of journalistic reporting.
