INTERMOT 2022: Looking forward to bike news and community experience

As the industry’s global mirror, INTERMOT always integrates new trends. We see it as our job to identify important developments at an early stage and incorporate them into the trade show concept. This includes, for example, the topics of alternative drive technologies and e-mobility, smart technologies such as driving assistance or communication systems, or subjects such as customizing and new heritage.

We are already working on the future, i.e., INTERMOT 2024, but it would be presumptuous to discuss our visions and concrete plans now. The important thing is to make INTERMOT 2022 a success. And after that we can talk about the next few years.

INTERMOT is the leading international business and event trade show in one of the world's top-selling motorcycle markets. To underline its importance in the long term, we have developed a future-oriented concept. We have really used our time well and put everything to the test. In doing so, we also acknowledged the changes resulting from the two COVID years. In any case, we are already really excited about the event. After all, INTERMOT 2022 is the first major motorcycle show where bike fans can experience this summer's new products live and on-site.

Motorbikes stand for emotion, fascinating technology, innovations, and lifestyle - visitors experience all of this at INTERMOT. Furthermore, we offer the industry a real community: a large collective of motorcycle and scooter fans who are enthusiastic about the philosophy of life on two wheels.

Modern mobility on motorised two-wheelers is no longer a vision of the future. Motorbike and scooter fans interested in alternative drive technologies and smart innovations will find exciting solutions at INTERMOT: from e-mobility and smart safety technologies, such as driving and assistance systems, to smartphone integration and eFuels.

Obviously the new bike models, many of which will be presented exclusively at INTERMOT. But most importantly, to the fact that manufacturers do not present themselves via the retail trade, but exclusively use an international platform such as INTERMOT for it. Here, trade visitors can meet the relevant contacts for business in person.

Here, beginners and young bikers will find the right approach to the fascination of motorbikes. For all those who want to embrace their inner biker but also want to have a look around first, the WORLD OF 125ccm is the place to be. Whether you have a driving licence or not, whether electric or petrol: if you like, you can simply get on your bike and do a few laps - under the guidance of professional riding instructors. Visitors aged 15 and over accompanied by an adult are welcome to join in. Protective clothing will of course be provided on site. There will also be lots of information about the entire range of models in the 125cc segment. But also people who have been car drivers for a long time and have yet to experience the incomparable feeling of freedom and adventure on two wheels will be able to do so.

As an enthusiastic motorcyclist, it is a dream come true to be able to actively shape INTERMOT and being part of the industry. Apart from that, I'm looking forward to exciting new launches and full halls with enthusiastic two-wheeler fans.
