INTERMOT is just as focused on business as it is on experience and fascination. The supporting programme is every bit as extensive in the area of electric mobility.
LEV-Conference
At the Light Electric Vehicles (LEV) Conference 2009 in Taipei, the conference organiser ExtraEnergy announced that the event will be held in future as part of INTERMOT Cologne. The convincing factor for the organiser was that the INTERMOT trade fair equally represents electric bicycles and electric scooters.
The LEV Conference focuses on technology for electric two-wheelers, especially drive technology, battery safety and standardisation. The conference also addresses highly relevant infrastructure topics, such as legislation and public infrastructure. Around 300 international participants from LEV and component manufacturers, research institutes, legislatures and local governments are expected to attend the conference, which is scheduled to take place on 4th and 5th October 2010.

Information events for dealers and workshops
This is where professional dealers provide valuable tips and background information. The sessions will take place on 6th October 2010 and will each last around two hours.
As part of the Workshop Centre, INTERMOT will present a completely equipped and functional model workshop, which will be operated by the Schweinfurt Vehicle Academy. One of the workshop’s four work stations focuses purely on the topic of “Electric mobility”.

TTXGP
As part of INTERMOT e-motion, the TTXGP — the first eGrandPrix — will present some of the motorbikes that are used in the race and provide additional information on the event, which takes place on the Isle of Man.

Active Cycling Stage
Numerous information events for interested visitors will take place on the stage of the magazine aktiv Radfahren . This is where you can find information on the latest trends and topics of the e-bike sector. In addition to the great amount of information provided by the sector, exhibitors can also present their products in different slots.
